What the..? Copperhead?

After two years of sharing my work under the name Glory Grace Photography, I've decided to start using the name Copperhead Photography. Why? Well, lemme tell ya I've realized some things have changed in the last two years-- in my style and in my approach. I love my given name-- Glory Grace Sheeley-- it's sweet and has served me well these 24 years, but I don't think it was doing a great job of representing my work and the direction I want to go with photography. Not every beautiful moment is sweet and flowery. I'm still me and will always approach photography with a spirit of 'lets-have-fun-and-make-beautiful-stuff.' As glad as I am to look back and see how much I've grown as a photographer, I'm looking forward to the hard work of pushing on and getting better. And I'm excited to be doing that under a new name. 

Thanks for all the support so far, guys. I'm blown away by the trust you all have given me to photograph your wedding day or your family playing at the park or an exciting new engagement. I've had so many "a-ha!" moments about love and things going on in my own life while photographing you and that's so priceless to me. Thank you. Cheers to new beginnings!
